Bux - We Come To Play - LP - Capitol - ST-11459 - USA - 1973/1976 - VG+/EX rw/sticker damage - OFFERS
Bux AKA Daddy Warbucks were an early 70s rock band signed to Aerosmith's manager.
They recorded an LP in 1973 produced by Aerosmith producer Jack Douglas, intended
for release on Capitol Records but it never came out. It was reputedly the victim
of some tax loss scheme... whatever the truth about that, it was released 3 years
later in 1976 to cash-in on the success of Angel, who featured ex Bux members Edwin
'Punky' Meadows and Mickey Jones. Punky Meadows was of course immortalised in song by
Frank Zappa, described as "more fluid that Jeff Beck". A decent hard rock record, and
	hard to find.

Chevy - The Taker - LP - Avatar/Bellaphon - 2607008 - Germany - 1980? - foc/stoc/mark on bc but EX/EX - €20
Classic heavy NWOBHM. With a gatefold sleeve instead of inner sleeve on UK/NL copies.
Cine Palace - s/t (AKA Rue Camille Niel) - LP - Philips - 6313 220 - France - 1981 - EX/EX - €30
rare French metal, hints of AC/DC and ZZ Top.
Crown (Swiss/UK) - see Prog section
Danger (Belgium) - s/t - LP - EMI - 1A-064-19073 - NL - 1981 - EX/EX - €10
excellent NWOBHM-inspired Belgian hard rock with a really tough sound,
	reminiscent of early Iron Maiden.
Death Angel - Frolic Through The Park - LP - Enigma - 3332 - NL - 1988 - inner M-/M- - €20
Second album by this powerful Bay Area thrash band. Realising that this
was released 18 years ago makes me feel old!
Deep Purple - see Prog section
Deviated Instinct - Rock'n'Roll Conformity - LP - Peaceville - VILE 3 - UK - 1988 - w/inner EX/EX - €25
Drakkar - X-Rated - LP - New Musidisc - 10 0981 - Belgium - 1988 - EX/EX - €40
Belgian power metal band, private press, very rare and sought after LP.
Emperor - s/t - LP - Private Stock - PS 2029 - USA - 1977 - date on cover EX/M- - €15
Late 60s Californian rock band who released several singles on RCA
I haven't heard before recording their one and only LP for Private
Strock in New York, produced by Richie Wise of Dust. Falls squarely
	along the rock/prog divide.
Expect No Mercy - Steelbreed - LP - Mausoleum - SKULL 83104 - Belgium - 1984 - soc EX-/EX - €25
Gamma - 2 - LP - Elektra - ELK 52245 - Germany - 1982 - M-/M- inner - €15
	2nd LP, almost as good.
Gamma - 3 - LP - Elektra - ELK K 52355 (E1-60034 - Germany - 1982 - M-/M- - €15
3rd, as brillaint as the debut. Apparently Ronnie issued a "Gamma 4"
	in 2000, but I haven't heard it.
Geordie - Electric Lady/Geordie Stomp - 7" - Vogue/Red Bus - 45 RB 3001 - France - 1973 - EX/EX - €9
Pre AC/DC outfit with Brian Johnson on vocals. Geordie made some good records in the early
70s (circa 1972-74), but they never quite made it and they later - circa 1978 - made some
	very mediocre records.
Rare french picture sleeve. I also have copies of the self-titled first album [1973]
and the "Don't Be Fooled By The Name" album [1974] for sale.
Gilgamesj - Take One - mini-LP - Rave On - RMLP-006 - NL - 1984 - EX/EX creases - €33
Dutch hard rock band whose history stretches back to 1975 apparently, but
aside from two comp appearances this was their only release, and if you
like mid-to-late 70s UFO, you'll like this, as one of the guitarists
comes on like the dutch Michael Schenker, which means he's close to God.
Because Schenker, as we all know, IS God. Yes he is, I'm right, shut up.
In fact the GREATEST 8-9 mins of music ever recorded by anyone, anywhere,
at any time, is the two opening tracks of UFO's "Force It" LP. Yes it is,
don't argue with me, I'm always right!
Gillan> Ian Gillan Band - Child In Time - LP - Oyster/Polydor - OY-1-1602 - USA - 1976 - foc cc EX/EX - €15
first post-Purple LP, very hard to find
Gillan - Future Shock - LP - Virgin - 203 596 - Germany - 1981 - +inner +'81 tour insert EX/EX - €12
Gillan - Double Trouble - 2xLP - Virgin - 301 804 - Germany - 1981 - foc EX/EX - €12
Gillan - Magic - LP - Virgin - 204 947 - Germany - 1982 - foc+inner EX/EX - €12
Girl - Sheer Greed - LP - Jet Records - JET LP224 - NL - 1980 - inner sleeve - EX/EX - €12
Fabulous NWOBHM band, hugely under-rated debut LP.

Grave Digger - Heavy Metal Breakdown - LP - Noise International - N 007 - Germany - 1984 - EX/EX - €25
The kind of Ur metal record which just sounds fabulous nowadays. Brilliant debut LP.
Grave Digger - Shoot Her Down! EP - 12" - Noise - N 0016 - Germany - 1984 - EX/EX - €20
The kind of Ur metal record which just sounds fabulous nowadays. A much greater band
than I gave them credit for back in the day. 1000 copies pressed.
Grave Digger - Witch Hunter - LP - Noise International - N 0020 - Germany - 1985 - custom label EX/EX - €25
The kind of Ur metal record which just sounds fabulous nowadays. Second LP.
Hanoi Rocks - All Those Wasted Years - 2xLP - Lick Records - LICK DLP5/6 - UK - 1985 - insert (Lick advert) slight sticker shadow EX/EX/EX - €15
A great double-live album with all the bands best material plus three
covers which say a lot about the bands roots: "Under My Wheels" (Alice Cooper),
"1970" (Stooges), and "Train Kept A-Rollin'" (Yardbirds, though Hanoi probably
got it from Aerosmith). Incorrectly lumped in with the glam/hair metal crowd
of the mid-80s, purely because of the way they looked.
Highway Chile - Storybook Heroes - LP - Lark - INL 3651 - Belgium - 1983 - inner EX/EX - €20
Classic dutch hardrock band, debut LP. This is the NWOBHM-sounding version.
Highway Chile - Storybook Heroes - LP - Mirus - MRG 60003 - USA - 1983 - inner M-/M- - €30
Rare US edition, different inner sleeve. Sounds more or less the same as the original Lark pressing
(with slightly different mastering), but is resequenced (different song order) and replaces two songs
with tracks from the "Fever" EP.
Highway Chile - For The Wild And Lonely EP - 12" - 21 Records - 2.124 - NL - 1984 - EX/EX - €15
Not quite up to the standards of the LP, with a definite commercial
bent, but worth it for the better tracks. Hard to find 6-track EP.
Hounds - Unleashed - LP - CBS - 82746 - NL - 1978 - inner EX/EX - €12
From Chicago, first of two LPs. A cross between Cheap Trick and Motley Crue.
A bit of a cult item.
Hunt - s/t - LP - Daffodil/GRT - 10056/GRT 9216 - Canada - 1977 - EX/EX embossed cover/small-coh - €25
Canadian band, ex Dillinger. Hard to find first LP.
Hunt - Back On The Hunt - LP - Daffodil/Visa - 7013 - USA - 1980 - EX/EX - €25
Canadian band, ex Dillinger. 2nd LP.
Hunt - Back On The Hunt - LP - Visa - 7013 - USA - 1980 - inner soc co-notch - EX/EX - €15
	Another copy.
Hunt - Thrill Of The Kill - LP - Passport - PB6015 - USA - 1982 - promo cc EX/EX - €25
Canadian band, ex Dillinger. 3rd LP with different, much better artwork.
Hunt - Thrill Of The Kill - LP - Passport/WEA - 58 499 - NL - 1982 - EX/EX - €25
Canadian band, ex Dillinger. 3rd LP with different, much better artwork.

Jaguar - Power Games - LP - Neat/Roadrunner - RR 9934 - NL - 1983 - EX/EX - €20
	Melodically-challenged super-fast NWOBHM. Debut LP.
Judas Priest - Sad Wings of Destiny (1975) - LP - RCV Records - RPL-2125 - Japan - 1983 - w/obi+insert M-/M- - €40
Second LP with some interesting moments but essentially the band is caught
between two stools. Fantastic cover artwork though.
Judas Priest - Stained Class - LP - CBS Sony - 25AP 893 - Japan - 1978 - insert EX/EX - €50
Kingdom Come - In Your Face - LP - Polydor - 839 192 - Germany - 1989 - inner bss EX/EX - €15
Le Griffe - You're Killing Me/ETA - 12' - Bullet - BOLT 7 - UK - 1984 - rw/cw/ew - VG+/EX - SOLD(€6)
Leno - En Directo - LP - Chapa - HS/33 - Spain - 1981 - +inner EX/EX - €10
	Slightly later pressing, I think.
Lucifer's Friend - see Prog section.
Lynx - Sneak Attack - LP - Quality - SV 1953 - Canada - 1978 - EX/EX w/poster - €20
2nd LP. An under-rated band who made 3 albums with 3 different lineups.
Admittedly the third one ("We Are The People") is pretty weak, but the
	other two are good.
M80 - Maniac's Revenge - LP - Roadrunner - RR-9801 - NL - 1985 - EX/EX - €10
Formed by guitarist Nikki Buzz, ex Vendetta (one interesting LP on Epic).
Buzz made two LPs as M-80 with two different rhythm sections. Neither is
spectacular but this is the better of the two.. he;s an interesting guitarist
but there's as many bad ideas as good on these records. He later played with
the hugely under-rated Curtis Knight (nevermind the overplayed Hendrix link,
check out the excellent mid-70s Zeus LPs with Fast Eddie Clarke).
Mahogany Rush - IV - LP - Pilot/Columbia - PC 34190 - USA - 1976 - EX/EX - €10
4th LP. Rock/hard rock on which Frank downplays the Hendrix influence.
Mahogany Rush - World Anthem - LP - CBS - AL 34677 - USA - 1977 - insert EX/EX - €10
	5th. More of the same.
Mahogany Rush & Frank Marino - Live - LP - CBS - 82621 - UK - 1978 - EX/EX - €15
6th album, recorded live -- the highpoint of the post-Hendrix material.
Comes with 3pp official CBS/Epic biography. If you've only heard the first
three LPs, this is the place to start with the rest.
Marseille - Red White And Slightly Blue - LP - Vertigo - 9103 209 - France - 1978 - +inner ex-/EX - €20
	Another NWOBHM rarity.
Mayday - Anything Else - LP - Straud Records - 6.23789 - Germany - 1979 - inner - EX/EX - €9
	tasteless cover artwork alert!
Megadeth - So Far So Good So What - LP - Capitol - 48 148 - NL - 1988 - inner EX/EX - €14
Formed by Metallica refugee Dave Mustaine. 3rd LP, fantastic speed/thrash
	riffing on this one. Essential.
Metallica - The $5.98 EP: Garage Days Re-revisited EP - 12" - Mercury - 888 788-1 - NL - 1987 - EX/EX - €25
	5-track edition
More - Warhead - LP - Atlantic - SD 19295 - Japan - 1981 - w/insert; rw EX/EX - €22
NWOBHM band, first album, rare Japanese press!
MSG - One Night At Budokan - 2xLP - Chrysalis - 301 929-406 - NL - 1981 - EX/EX foc - €20
MSG is of course the Michael Schenker Group. Schenker is probably the
best guitarist I've ever heard. After stints with the Scorpions (tho the
"Lonsome Crow" LP is best forgotten!) and UFO (all LPs = total classics),
Schenker formed MSG and released a series of exceptional solo LPs in the
early 80s... later stuff is frankly erratic at best, but this early 80s
period is the real deal, and the soloing on this double live set is nirvana.
