Mackay> Andy Mackay - In Search of Eddie Riff - LP - Island Records ILPS 9278 - UK - 1974 - pink rim label, one label blank EX/EX - €25
Nice original first press copy of Mackay's first solo album which features his
Roxy Music team mates Phil Manzanera, Eddie Jobson & Paul Thompson
and some wild, odd and occasionaly awful renditions of some well know tracks
including Wagner's "Ride of the Walkyries" which opens side one (which is abysmal,
the whole side stinks) so start on side two. One label is blank, i.e. its a proper
Island pink rim label but there is no text printed on it. Worthwhile for Roxy fans,
I guess, and those in search of mid-70s rock/funk/fusion sounds.

Essentially an expanded version of the debut "Revelation" album (1969).
All Man LPs up to about 1975 are essential but I need to thin my collection
so I'm selling duplicates and re-packages like this one. A great introduction
	to the band.

is removeable, I just didnt get a chance to do it before taking this photo.

and Brits, based in London, worked in the BBC, and recorded three LPs for Logo during 1977-78, all of
which have become somewhat hard to find now. Nice copy apart from some slight ringwear.

Mega's - Meganique - LP - Dankers DL 1002 - Holland - 1968 - M-/M- - BID
The Mega's were the Dutch Zombies. While their album isn't nearly as good as
	Odessey & Oracle, it's an excellent psych-mod-pop collection.Beware
dealer/trader claims that only 500 copies were pressed: there are just too many
near mint copies around in Holland for this to be true! Amazingly clean copy
	with original flipback sleeve

Message - Astral Journeys - LP - Brain 0060.165 - Germany - 1978 - EX/EX - €15
Excellent krautrock band (with english connections), not on a par with their
first two but still a fine late-krautrock album

Michaelkoor De Bilt - Jesus Christ Superstar - LP - Delta - DC 7004 - NL - 1972 - EX/EX - €15
Nice copy of this rare recording of JCS by 'Michaelkoor De Bilt', a semi-pro choir
with full electric band/ Well executed and recorded. Nice cover design too, as is usual
from Delta. All in all in very good shape. Clearly this is not for everyone, but this
is a very nice copy for those into this kind of thing.

Miek & Roel - Je Kan Nooit Weten - LP - Vogue - CLVPB 006 - Belgium - 1967 - VG-/VG- - €7.99
This disc looks pretty bad but it plays remarlably well; the cover has a repaired
tear at the opening, featherign, wobc, stamp on back cover, and the unlaminated
back part of the cover is grubby... even so, this shows Vogue once knew how
to press vinyl that was built to last (70s Vogue pressings seem to have had no
	resistance to mishandling).

Might As Well - Blow Job - LP - Rosemarie N Records - private - Germany - 1991 - M/M - €25

Miller> Steve Miller Band - Recall the Beginning...A Journey From Eden - LP - Capitol SMAS-11022 - USA - 1972 - gimmick foc EX/EX(-) - €25
Nice original copy which was still in original shrinkwrap when I got it -- I removed this to check
for problems but there are none and the detachable poster is still attached, so its a triple
	gatefold sleeve.

First of four or five albums by this interesting rock band. Hard to get a handle on them
but ultimately the music is not hard enough for my tastes. Great cover artwork.

	Spanish issue from 1977.

New York Rock & Roll Ensemble - Reflections - LP - Atco - SD 33-312 - USA - 1970 - M-/M- - €15
3rd album, only released in the US. The NYR&RE were one of several bands of the
era attempting to fuse rock with classical music. Like all such fusions, it's
	interesting but not exactly compelling.

Nice> The Nice - Ars Longa Vita Brevis - LP - Immediate - 1c-006-90006 - Germany - 1968 - white label - EX/EX - € 18

Nico - Marble Index - LP - Elektra - EKS-74029 - UK? - 1968/197? - butterfly label, laminated cover EX/EX - €15
Nico's second album and one of her starkest, where she established the cold
vocal over mournful harmonium sound, with minimal added instrumentation arranged
by John Cale. A real party killer!

Noirret> Michel Noirret - Fermez la Fenetre Ca Fait Courant d'Air - LP - JW'S Records - 33781 - Belgium - 1978 - gimmick foc - EX/EX - €12
Belgian singer in George Brassens style with full electric backing; the cover is a stunning
hand-drawn picture of two louvred doors which opens in the middle to reveal a fantastic interior.
Mind-blowing. Pity the music doesn't live up to the visuals IMO. His 2nd and last LP.
Released on the same small	Belgian indie label which gave us the immortal P.I.G.Z. EP

O'Brien> Dennis O'Brien - Any Other Face - LP - Decca - 6.24163 - Germany - 1979 - +lyric insert EX/EX - €20
Australian singer-songwriter backed by a great list of session musicians,

Paice Ashton Lord - Malice in Wonderland - LP - Oyster/Warner - BS 3038 - USA - 1977 - +inner co EX/M- - €25
Paice & Lord's project after Deep Purple split in 1976. This was their sole
LP as it didn't sell very well. Takign in blues, jazz and soul influences into
a lighter sound than Purple, with ex SNAFU guitarist Bernie Marsden. Not bad...
not inspiring, but not bad. Hard to find in good nick.

Palass - Private Property - LP - Imavox - IM 30.117 - Portugal - 1981 - EX/EX - BID
Rare! Portugese only release by this Belgian heavy progressive band
reminiscent of Hawkwind at times. I also have one of their two
self-released singles for sale in the main catalogue.

of their magazine and held a special conference to announce it; attendees received a free
copy of the current Pasadena Roof Orchestra which is housed in a special sleeve designed
	for the conference.

Pop> Iggy Pop - The Idiot - LP - RCA NL 82275 - Germany - 1977 - early 80s issue EX/EX - €15
1st solo LP, though Bowie probably deserves co-credit as all tracks are
Pop/Bowie compositions. Iggy's most experimental album, apart perhaps from
	"Zombie Birdhouse".

Pop> Iggy Pop - TV Eye - LP - Live 1977 - LP - RCA - PL-12796 - Holland - 1978 - w/inner EX/EX - €25
3rd solo LP, recorded live in 1977, mixing tracks from his first two solo LPs
with Stooges material ("T.V.Eye", "Dirt", I Wanna Be Your Dog").

Pop> Iggy Pop - New Values - LP - Arista - 210 997 - Germany - 1979 - EX/EX - €20
4th solo LP. Recorded with James Williamson and Scott Thurston from the "Raw
Power" Stooges days. This is his best solo LP IMO. There are some great songs
here: "I'm Bored", "Don't Look Down" (which Bowie later covered/butchered as
reggae-lite!), "The Endless Sea", "Five Foot One", etc.

Pop> Iggy Pop - Solider - LP - Arista - 201 160 - Germany - 1980 - EX/EX - €20
5th solo LP. His "UK punk" album, with people like Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols),
Steve New (Rich Kids) & Barry Andrews (XTC) appearing. Predictably, it's not as
good as it should be. There's a lot of filler with only about half the songs
standing up, and the production is limp (where's the lead guitar?), but Iggy
	himself is in fine form.

Pop> Iggy Pop - Zombie Birdhouse - LP - Animal - APE 6000 - USA - 1982 - coh EX/EX - €15
7th solo LP. After the disastrous attempted dance-pop of the truly appalling
"Party" (his 6th LP, from 1981), Iggy returned with this record, on which he sounds
like the walking dead. Easily Iggy's most lifeless performance, though it is weird.
This is the last Iggy LP I bought. All tunes by Rob Du Prey.

Propagation - By Means Of Music - LP - Road - RP2001 - Holland - 1983 - +insert EX/EX - €25

	first of two LPs.

Pulse - s/t - LP - Major Minor - SMLP 64 - Germany - 1969 - EX/M- - €65
Amazing LP, psych, heavy blues and hard rock. Released in the US on Poisin Ring,
licensed by Major Minor in Europe. This disc is in outstanding condition, the
cover has some creases but no rips or tears. Nice item.

Python Lee Jackson - In A Broken Dream - LP - Young Blood - YQ 20.076 - NL - 1972 - sticker shadow EX(-)/EX - €29
Nothing to do with Lee Jackson of The Nice (though The Nice isn't a bad reference point),
Python Lee Jackson were an Australian band. This is their only LP, comprised of two sessions
recorded in 1969 and 1971. This is the dutch pressing on the black Young Blood International
label. No mention of Rod Stewart anywhere on the sleeve, but he's the real reason for buying
this LP. He sings on a few tracks (these are noted on the label) and it is these soulful, bluesy,
Hammond organ drenched wonders that are the reason for owning this LP. If you like Rod Stewarts
early solo work from the late 60s/early 70s, and with The Faces, etc, then this is very worthwhile.

Ramatam - s/t - LP - Atlantic - SD 7236 - USA - 1972 - co EX/EX - €15
debut, with Mitch Mitchell, ex Jimi Hendrix Experience

Ratchell - II - LP - Decca - DL7-5365 - USA - 1972 - rw EX/EX - €15
Usually mentioned in the Couchois family tree, but what brought me to Ratchell
was guitarist Larry Byrom, ex of Steppenwolf. Much more of an acoustic rock LP
than the Couchois connection might suggest.

Rose> Tim Rose - Love - A Kind Of Hate Story - LP - EMI Capitol - ST 22673 - UK - 1971 - flipback EX/EX - €15
4th solo album on which he is backed by Rumplestilkskin, an early 70s
rock band with two albums to their credit: Alan Parker (guitar), Herbie Flowers
(bass) & Clem Cattini (drums). Consequently this is far more 'rock' than Rose's
earlier albums. Not to everyone's taste, but he manages to make Peter Sarstead's
dreary "Where Do You Go to My Lovely" listenable. He also covers Rare Bird's
	"Sympathy" and the Bee Gees.

solo LP, with the delicate gimmick outer cover (which folds out into a guitar!),
which is intact and in near perfect condition.
